Pikmin 4 launches at the end of this week (July 21. to be exact). While many Nintendo fans are accustomed to taking the company’s games and getting to playing right out of the box, Pikmin 4 looks set to be a title that will require a day one update. Nintendo has stated that the patch fixes “various issues,” but there are no details as to what those issues actually are.
So, what changes await in this update? At this point it’s anyone’s guess, but Pikmin 4 likely has some small tweaks that are needed to make it an optimal gameplay experience, so thus the need for the update.
