Torchlight 2 has been around for a while now, enticing players with its popular action-RPG gameplay, dungeon-crawling, and loot collecting. Now, not only is the game coming to Nintendo Switch, but the port is being handled by Panic Button, the technical wizards responsible for squeezing games like Doom and Warframe onto the diminutive system.
Granted, Torchlight 2 might not be as technically complex as those titles, but it still promises a big world with lots of action as players swing their swords and cast spells at large groups of foes. The fact that up to four people can play together will likely only increase the levels of mayhem.
The game will release for Switch on September 2 and will even include some exclusive in-game pets. Those who pre-purchase will get a Yapper, a goblin-looking creature, while anyone playing on Switch can eventually get their hands on a Unicorn.
