Throughout its lifespan, the Wii U struggled to find an audience. With nearly three million units sold worldwide, the Switch seems to be off to a much better start, and publishers and developers are starting to take notice. As a result, several Wii U titles have made the jump to Switch to find a larger audience. Fans of the One Piece anime and manga series will likely be interested to know that One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition is the latest title to receive this type of treatment, and it’s already confirmed for release in the west.
One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition first saw release in 2014 to moderately strong reviews. The game originally featured 40 pieces of DLC, all of which will be included in the version headed to Switch. The Switch release will also feature a two-player co-op mode as well as digital and physical releases.
At this time, One Piece: Unlimited World Red Deluxe Edition has only been confirmed for Europe, but a North American release seems likely. Do you plan on checking out the game? Let us know in the comments below!
