A listing on the eShop has revealed that developer All Yes Good is bringing Octogeddon to Switch later this month.
In case you are wondering what exactly ‘Octogeddon’ is:
You are Octogeddon, a massive mutant octopus with one mission: DESTROY the world! Grow more tentacles and evolve each of them into deadlier and deadlier weapons until you become the ultimate eight-legged killing machine!
The eShop listing promises a game that is “easy to pick up, hard to put down” and which offers a variety of enemies and boss battles to fight. It is described as a ‘spin-em-up’ (a new take on the shoot-em-up genre) and offers deep customization of weapons that Octogeddon can strap to his tentacles. Octogeddon was originally released on Steam in February 2018 by the indie studio formed by the creator of Plants vs. Zombies and received generally favorable reviews on release.
You can pick it up on the Switch eShop from May 16 for $14.99.
