Nintendo’s Japanese Headquarters Lost its “N”

A typhoon which hit Japan has blown the letter clean off.

Typhoon Jebi has left a trail of destruction in Japan, and it seems that Nintendo’s Kyoto headquarters didn’t escape this (although it suffered a minor inconvenience).

As shown in a recent tweet by Florent Gorges, it would see that the storm has knocked the “N” off the building’s logo.

While I have no doubt this will lead to many memes in the future (“intendo”), for now, it’s a piece of minor damage caused by the strongest typhoon to hit Japan since 1993. In fact, Nintendo has apparently closed all telephone and online customer support for Japanese consumers as a result of the storm.
