Today’s Nintendo Direct was loaded with treats for Amiibo fans: not only will the new Splatoon and Pikmin titles be launching with their own lines of figures, we can expect to see new Legend of Zelda and Super Smash Bros. Amiibo in stores soon as well.
Following the last wave of Zelda-inspired Amiibo, Nintendo will be releasing a trio of new figures based on Link’s appearance from three as-yet unrepresented titles: Majora’s Mask, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword. All three figures will be released individually and will be launching on June 23.
On the Smash Bros. front, fans will finally be able to get their hands on the long-awaited Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta Amiibo. These figures will be hitting stores on July 21. What makes this particular wave interesting is that each figure will also launch in an alternate version, as you can see in the image below.
