Nintendo Today! Video Shows Off How Quiet the Switch 2 Pro Controller is

Nintendo Today! has been highlighting different aspects of Nintendo Switch 2 for weeks now, including the hardware, accessories, and games. In a recent video, Nintendo showed off the Switch 2 Pro Controller. Specifically, how nice and quiet the new pad is. The sticks are especially hushed, which this writer can personally attest to having gone hands-on with the device at a recent Nintendo Switch 2 Experience event.

The video also demonstrates how headphones/audio devices can be plugged into the Switch 2 Pro Controller via the jack at the bottom of the pad. Besides that, the new GL/GR buttons on the backside of the controller were shown off in the video. GL and GR can be mapped to a function of the player’s choosing, making them a versatile option for those who want to customize their gaming experience.

Nintendo Switch 2 recently went up for presale at retailers all across the US. The console will launch on June 5, 2025.
