There’s only so much temptation that a person can take, and as this writer reports the following news, be aware that he has reached his maximum threshold. In a stroke of sheer brilliance, Nintendo and shoe company Vans have partnered to deliver a line of footwear themed with the former’s assortment of different characters. There’s no two ways about it; I will own these. Every pair. Possibly even purchase more than one of each.
This is serious business in the fashion world, Nintendojo readers. The line of shoes pulls from the usual suspects of Mario, Zelda, and Donkey Kong, but the sight of Duck Hunt (rocking some digital camouflage in the background) was a particular thrill to behold.
