If you were wondering when Nintendo was going to finally bring you something new to play on Nintendo Switch Online, we have an answer for you: right now. Simply update the NES, SNES, and Game Boy apps on your Nintendo Switch to receive this fresh batch of retro software. As for which games have been added, look no further than the trailer below:
Here’s the list of titles:

- Xevious
- Super Nintendo Entertainment System:
- Side Pocket
- Game Boy:
- Kirby’s Dream Land 2
- Burger Time Deluxe
That’s not a bad selection of games, especially Kirby’s Dream Land 2, which is arguably the main draw here. It’s especially nice to see Game Boy getting some love so soon after launching on the service. Coupled with the release of Metroid Fusion on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass just a couple of weeks ago, the only systems now waiting in the wings for new games are the Nintendo 64 and SEGA Genesis apps.
