Nintendo Snatches Up Four Nominations At This Year’s New York Game Awards

Nintendo is looking to take home some more awards hardware later this month. The 14th annual New York Game Awards will air on January 21, 2025, and Nintendo has not one, not two, not even three, but four nominations this year. Here are the noms:

• Best Kids Game:
  • The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
  • Mario Party Jamboree
• Best Remake:
  • Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
• Best DLC:
  • Splatoon 3
• Best Mobile Game:
  • Pokémon TCG Pocket

All told, that’s a very respectable showing for the House of Mario. Now the question is, which game, if any, will be deemed worthy of a win? We’ll let you know the outcome in a couple of weeks!
