Last year’s Yo-Kai Watch proved to be a modest success for Nintendo. While the title didn’t find the same level of popularity it has in Japan, the franchise has managed to build a respectable fanbase.
In just a few short weeks, the sequel, Yo-Kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls and Bony Spirits, will arrive in North America. Nintendo of America has started to promote the twin titles, with a brand new trailer that released earlier today!
3DS owners awaiting the impending release can get some neat digital bonuses, in the meantime. Nintendo of Europe is currently distributing a Yo-Kai Watch StreetPass puzzle. The puzzle hasn’t been announced for North America just yet, but My Nintendo members can snag a 3DS theme starring franchise mascot Jibanyan. The theme costs 100 platinum coins.
Yo-Kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls and Bony Spirits will release September 30. Stay tuned to Nintendojo for more information as the release date approaches!
