Nintendo Labo has been one of the more intriguing stories of the Switch era. While the cardboard/video game amalgam hasn’t been nearly as successful as the company’s handheld hybrid, it has proven to be an interesting and different addition to the video game industry. Labo fans will be happy to know that Nintendo has announced a new kit, and it’s coming to Switch in the very near future!
As with previous Labo releases, the Nintendo Labo: Vehicle Kit will include DIY cardboard sets as well as new software. The kit will allow players to create the interior of a vehicle, complete with keys and pedals. Three different keys can be assembled, allowing the interior to shift into three different vehicles in-game: a car, a plane and a submarine. The included game will allow players to participate in races, battles and more. The Vehicle Kit will also be compatible with Toy-Con Garage.
The Nintendo Labo Vehicle Kit will retail for $69.99 on September 14.
