Nintendo’s entry model handheld is about to become even more affordable. Beginning May 20, Nintendo will be dropping the price of the 2DS from $99.99 to $79.99 USD, including units that are bundled with a digital copy of Mario Kart 7.
Nintendo has always positioned 2DS as the most kid-friendly model in the 3DS line, and the price reduction comes ahead of three titles that are sure to be popular among youngsters. On June 10, Kirby: Planet Robobot, the latest installment in the adorable puffball’s series, will be hitting handhelds, with Style Savvy: Fashion Forward and Disney Magical World 2 following on August 19 and October 14, respectively.
