While most people were consuming large amounts of turkey, or perhaps celebrating the Harvest Festival in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Nintendo refused to take the day off. With that said, here are this week’s Nintendo Downloads!
This week’s biggest announcement comes as a discount on all things Mario related. The original Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 2 can be attained on both the 3DS and Wii U for the discount price of $3.49. Additionally, the 3DS has discounts on Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins ($2.79) and Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move ($6.99). The Wii U also offers discounts on Mario Bros. ($3.49) and Super Mario World ($5.59). These discounts run from now until December 5th! If Mario isn’t your thing, you can also find Shin Megami Tensei 4 on sale for the Nintendo 3DS now through December 2nd for the price of $29.99.
The Virtual Console has a few new additions, as well. Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom joins the first two titles in the series on Nintendo 3DS, with a price of $4.99. On the Wii U, Contra III: The Alien Wars makes its debut for $7.99. If you’re looking for some challenging old-school gameplay, these are both titles that will satisfy that craving. Don’t say we didn’t warn you! Those aren’t the only retro games on the way this week, however. Space Harrier and Super Hang-On are both arriving on the 3DS, but with new features and 3D visuals. These downloads will set you back $5.99 a piece.
If you’ve ever wanted to race around the world but didn’t have the cash, Race to the Line offers eight different tracks and ten different cars to check out. It’s available for just $3.99. Speaking of visiting places around the world, Nintendo 3DS Guide: Louvre is available on December 2nd for $19.99. The title allows players to check out the world famous museum, without breaking the bank.
Rounding up this week’s releases are My Exotic Farm ($24.99) and Young Justice: Legacy ($29.99) on the Nintendo 3DS. DSiWare also gets one title with Heathcliff: Spot On ($4.99).
