Tabletop RPGs have a different flavor than the video game ones that fans are familiar with, but when the two meet together there can often be very interesting results. Such is the goal for Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars. This “fresh take on tabletop RPGs,” as Square Enix is billing it, is coming from the creators behind YOKO TARO and Yosuke Saito, who has worked on games like Nier and Dragon Quest XI.
Voice of Cards is coming to Switch very soon—October 28, to be exact. Here’s what to expect from the game:
A spellbinding experience from the creative minds of YOKO TARO and Yosuke Saito is about to unfold. In Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars from SQUARE ENIX, players will square off in experiences that reveal themselves through cards, including turn-based battles, where their skills – and a little bit of luck – will determine the victor.
