Last week, after a terrible Earthquake in Hokkaido resulted in at least 41 deaths, Nintendo decided to postpone a previously scheduled Nintendo Direct presentation. Nintendo has now announced a new day and time for the video and it’s set to air exactly one week after its previously scheduled day and time!

It will be interesting to see what impact, if any, the delay has had on the presentation. Since last week, a handful of fairly large third party announcements have been made, including a pair of titles from Square Enix and a surprise demo for Mega Man 11 appearing on the eShop. Many fans have speculated that these announcements might have been made during the Direct. There has also been a fair bit of speculation about another fighter reveal for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as well, though there hasn’t been a significant leak the way there was before Simon Belmont’s official reveal.

One way or the other, we’ll likely have some answers soon! The presentation is scheduled to air Thursday September 13 at 3 PM PT. Stay tuned to Nintendojo for more information following the Direct!
