Enough words, look at the trailer, then we’ll talk:

There are a number of different changes and tweaks that have been made to the games in this collection. Let’s go through them:

  • Battle It Out Online – Online ranked, casual, and lobby matches are available for the fighting games in the collection.
  • Robust Rollback Netcode – Online play is supported with rollback netcode.
  • Be the Best! – Global high score leaderboards are available for every game in the collection.
  • Practice Makes Perfect – Training Mode comes to all the fighting games in the collection.
  • A Rare Gem – The arcade version of The Punisher is coming to the West for the first time.
  • Watch This! – Spectator Mode lets you enjoy watching others battle it out.

The collection will also offer a music jukebox, in-game Museum, new display filters, and much more besides. Again, there’s no release date, but Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics launches later this year with an MSRP of $49.99. These are some truly classics fighting games, folks, and if you’re someone who played them back in the day, you’re likely grinning ear-to-ear seeing them make a comeback. For those who have yet to experience these legends, be hyped.
