Man, is this one of the greatest eras for fighting game fans, like, ever? It might be, considering Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is coming in September and then, in 2025, it will be followed by another gem: Capcom Fighting Collection 2. The game was revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase and it promising eight classic Capcom fighters in one package. Take a look:
Here are the eight games in the collection:
- Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro
- Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001
- Capcom Fighting Evolution
- Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER
- Project Justice
- Power Stone
- Power Stone 2
- Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein
As has become the standard with these Capcom rereleases, both local and online play will be enabled. Many of these fighters have been getting begged for a rerelease for many years, so needless to say many a fan was quite happy to hear about this news today.
