Over the weekend, players enjoyed the last of Nintendo’s currently scheduled Testpunch events for Arms. The company’s upcoming fighting game is less than two weeks away from release, and it would seem players have so far walked away with a favorite fighter: Ninjara! According to the game’s official Twitter account, Ninjara was selected by a majority of players during both weekends of the event.
Unsurprisingly, Twintelle also ranked high with Arms players. While the character was unavailable during the first weekend, the character came in second behind Ninjara in terms of player selection the following week. Twintelle’s popularity comes as little surprise, given the favorable reaction the character has had online since she first appeared during last month’s Nintendo Direct. Twintelle has been the subject of tons of fan-made art, and will likely continue to rise in popularity once the game officially releases!
