The Wii Mini was at one point thought to be just a useless little system coming to Canada long after the console’s heyday. But now, for whatever reason, the red and black mini is coming to the UK next month, on March 22.
The Wii Mini sports a different design, no Internet connectivity, and is not backwards compatible, essentially ruling it a glorified paper weight. But, if you’re itching to blow some money, then perhaps the Mini is for you. No price point has been announced as of yet, but make note that in Canada the system clocked in at $99.99, so expect something comparable.

I would like to know the reasoning that Nintendo choses to release this in certain regions over others. I understand a lot of people wouldn’t buy this in the US, but I wouldn’t mind having this just to have it.
