After the recent string of disappointing third party news, it’s nice to finally see rumors that a high-profile game may be making its way to Wii U. Specifically, Kotaku has gotten its hands on some leaked promotional material for Watch Dogs, Ubisoft’s upcoming cyberpunk action game, that seems to suggest the title will be hitting Nintendo’s new console later this year.
According to the leaked material, Watch Dogs will be coming to “all home consoles” this holiday season. Ubisoft has already confirmed that the game will be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, so this nebulous wording suggests that other systems like Wii U will be receiving the title as well. By the same token, many have taken this to mean that Watch Dogs will also be coming to Sony and Microsoft’s next-generation platforms, which are expected to launch before the end of the year.
Of course, this is all purely speculation at this point, and we won’t know for sure if Watch Dogs will indeed be hitting Wii U until Ubisoft issues a statement clarifying the matter. Until then, we’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed and hope that this does turn out to be true!

i hope it’s true, if ubisoft wants to make things right they should release this on wii U and maybe i can give them a second chance
I hope so. It really does look like a brilliant game. I’ve got a PS3, but it’d be nice for Nintendo gamers to play this too.
