It’s official: Toki Tori 2, the long-awaited sequel to the classic Game Boy Color game, has finally been completed.
The news broke earlier this week on developer Two Tribes’ official website, where the studio announced that it had submitted the game to Nintendo for final approval. Toki Tori 2 has been in development for roughly a year and a half, and will be launching over a decade after the original Toki Tori hit stores.
Given the varying length of the approval process, a final release date has yet to be confirmed, but we can expect the puzzle/platformer to hit the Wii U eShop before long. Have you been looking forward to the title, and do you plan on downloading it once it’s released? Let us know in the comments!
