Who said a direct sequel to Pokémon Black and White couldn’t work?
It has been revealed that Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2, the direct sequels to the aforementioned games, have hit over 7.5 million in sales worldwide, according to the third quarter report. Combined, the pair are the highest-selling Nintendo games of the quarter, eclipsing the second place New Super Mario Bros. 2, which clocks in at 5.96 million. Pretty astounding.
Rounding out the top 5 is Animal Crossing: New Leaf (which is Japan-only at the moment), New Super Mario Bros. U, and Nintendo Land, all within the 2-3 million mark.

super effective!! i guess pokemon x and y will sell at least 12 million worlwide.
Once Animal crossing releses, it will at least rake in another 2 million. The new mystery dungeon game should sell well too.
