Bad news for European fans of Darksiders II that have yet to get the game. A message was posted on the European Wii U eShop saying that as of March 31, Darksiders II will cease to be available for purchase. You will still be able to re-download it have you already bought it, however.
This comes to a surprise to many folks, especially as no reasons have been given for the removal. Unlike some games, there weren’t any licensing or legal issues. On top of that, there has yet to be any word about the North American eShop. It could be only a regional thing, or perhaps North Americans will soon be getting the same notification.
The most important thing is that if you’re one of those fans that has yet to get the game and want to download, do it now before it’s too late!
