Nintendo’s popular level creation tool Super Mario Maker will be receiving another update next week, bringing with it a handful of new features for players to use in their courses. Among the new elements being introduced in the update is a Fire Koopa Clown Car. By placing the regular Koopa Clown Car in the course editor and shaking it, players will be able to use its new fire variant, which can spit fireballs and defeat enemies. Also being added to the game are P Warp Doors (which only appear after pressing a P Switch) and a new Bumper obstacle. You can see all three of these new course elements in the trailer below.
Those aren’t the only new features coming to the game, however. As Nintendo detailed during the last Nintendo Direct broadcast, players will soon be able to search for courses via PC and mobile devices thanks to a new Super Mario Maker Bookmark web portal. The Bookmark portal allows players to search for specific courses using a variety of filters. Once a course is bookmarked, it will appear in a new tab in the game’s Course World. Nintendo has also released a trailer detailing the bookmark feature, which we’ve embedded below.
