Warner Bros. and TT Games continue to expand the content of Lego Dimensions. In early 2017, new playsets for the title will arrive, focusing on a big new movie, and a classic ’80s television series.
The Lego Batman Movie Story Pack will allow players to play through the entirety of the upcoming film. The set will feature figures based on Batgirl and Robin as well as the Batcomputer and a Microfighter based on the Batwing jet. The jet can also transform into two additional vehicles, The Black Thunder and the Bat-Tank. The jet isn’t the only thing that can transform. Robin can also become the hero known as Nightwing, as well! A timed Target exclusive Fun Pack featuring Excalibur Batman and an Electronic Steed will also release the same day.
David Hasselhoff fans will also have a new set to keep an eye out for. A Fun Pack featuring KITT and Michael Knight from the TV series Knight Rider will be available as a timed GameStop exclusive. The set is certainly a niche selection, but it does show that Warner Bros. and Universal are determined to mine through their impressive catalogue of licenses for the game.
The new packs will be available February 10. Do you plan on picking up any of the new Lego Dimensions packs? Let us know in the comments below!
