This January, Traveller’s Tales will release Lego Marvel’s Avengers, a follow-up to 2013’s excellent Lego Marvel Super Heroes. The title will allow players to reenact multiple storylines from the Marvel Studios films, and it will also feature a number of exciting new playable characters from the comics, as well. The list of additions certainly offers a lot of interesting choices for Marvel fans. We already knew about the addition of the Sam Wilson version of Captain America, but now we know that his fellow replacement Avenger, the Jane Foster version of Thor, is set to appear as well. Jack Kirby creation Devil Dinosaur is also on the list, which was a decision likely inspired by the playable dinosaurs in Lego Jurassic World. Of particular note is the appearance of Jessica Jones, star of the upcoming Netflix series of the same name. This list is just a sample of what fans should expect when the game releases this fall. According to Traveller’s Tales, more than 250 playable characters will appear in the game. All in all, it looks like a significant change-up from Lego Marvel Super Heroes, and a must-own game for mighty Marvelites!
