For a long time, Nintendo has made a point of keeping fans well-informed on the development of the Smash Bros. series once each new entry is announced. Of course, the next entry in the franchise, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, was announced at E3 back in June. While there has already been a massive deluge of information, there are still plenty of questions left, but it looks like at least a few will soon be answered.
Nintendo tweeted an announcement that a Nintendo Direct will be streamed on Wednesday, August 9 and it will feature director Masahiro Sakurai discussing the new game.

The Direct will be available to watch at 7 AM PT, 10 AM EST, 3 PM BST, 4 PM CEST, and 11 PM JST.
