Metroid Dread isn’t very far from its October 8 launch. In the game’s latest trailer, a ton of cinematic footage is shown off along with a bunch of fresh gameplay. You can give it a look right here:
The big takeaway from this trailer is arguably Samus’s encounter with what appears to be a large Chozo warrior of some kind. The creature towers over Samus and, in the closing moments of the footage, seems to overpower the bounty hunter. That is, until Samus’s eyes open wide an a possible surge of energy seemingly begins to bubble to the surface. So many questions! Who is this warrior? What’s happening to Samus there at the end? Hopefully the wait for the answers won’t be too excruciating.
