Earlier this month, developer Inti Creates announced that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been delayed from a first quarter 2017 release until sometime in 2018. While Castlevania fans will no doubt find themselves disappointed by the delay of the spiritual successor, producer Koji Igarashi continues to dole out new information to keep fans interested.

The title’s latest update includes a sampling of four brand-new audio tracks from composer Michiru Yamane, another veteran of the Castlevania franchise. The music certainly fits with the atmospheric tone fans have come to expect from Igarashi’s games. We’ve included a sampling below, and you can find the rest of the tracks on the game’s Kickstarter page!

Stay tuned to Nintendojo for more information on Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night in the coming months!

These tracks are classic Yamane and really put me in the mood for some Castleva… I mean Bloodstained.

Still, it doesn’t make the wait for 2018(!) any easier.
