Capcom treated fans to a new Monster Hunter Digital Event that revealed a few new tidbits about the two upcoming releases in the franchise. In the case of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, there’s now an official release date attached to the game: July 9. There’s also a new trailer to enjoy:
Those interested in special versions of their games will be happy to hear that Monster Hunter Stories 2 will be getting a special version at retail. Fans will have the chance to purchase a Deluxe Edition of Wings of Ruin, which you can peek at below:
The Deluxe Edition contains the following items:
- Base game
- Ena Outfit—Kuan Coat
- Layer Armor—Razewing Armor Alpha & Beta
- Player Hairstyle—Spiky Nergal
- Navirou Outfit—Pukei-Pukei Costume & Nergigante Costume
- Sticker Sets: Adventure Buddies 2 & 3
Along with its release date, Capcom also debuted the three new amiibo figures that will be accompanying Wings of Ruin:
The trio of figurines will be available exclusively at GameStop, much like the amiibo triplets coming to Monster Hunter Rise.
