Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin was the second Monster Hunter title announced during the recent Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase broadcast. A sequel to the original 3DS game, this new entry looks to up the ante with a grander sense of scale, new gameplay, and more. Give it a look:

Currently in development, MONSTER HUNTER STORIES 2: Wings of Ruin puts players in the role of a Monster Rider who befriends iconic monsters from the Monster Hunter series as they embark on epic adventures together. More information about this story-based role-playing game coming to Nintendo Switch in summer 2021 will be revealed in the future.
There is also word that there will be some crossover between this game and Monster Hunter Rise, although what that will entail has yet to be divulged. The original was a very fun and engaging RPG, so hopes are high that this sequel will be able to recapture that magic. Wings of Ruin is set to launch in the summer of 2021.
