After the recent announcement of Nintendo’s partnership with DeNA (which we have discussed at length here), you would be forgiven for thinking that it would be a while before Nintendo made any more big announcements. But according to the latest issue of Famitsu Wii+DS, a major game announcement for Nintendo platforms will be revealed in its next issue.
No mention is made about which platform we can expect the game to be on, but the use of “Nintendo platforms” in the article indicates that it will be across both Wii U and 3DS.
Others across the Internet are suggesting that it could be a new Dragon Quest, which remains hugely popular in Japan, but without any further information to go on at the moment, this is all just speculation.
What game are you hoping for? Could this be one of Nintendo’s new mobile titles or is too soon to even be thinking that? Let us know below.

We must be in for a Nintendo Direct soon. Even if this specific announcement is for Japan only, it seems like Nintendo has a lot of info to share for the near future.
I agree. For games that are (supposedly) coming soon, we don’t have a ton of info on Yoshi’s Woolley World, Mario Maker, Star Fox and Zelda, though I expect the latter two to get a TON of exposure at E3.
