Limited Run, known for co-publishing such titles as VA-11 HALL-A and Xeodrifter, has been attempting to work with Nintendo to receive approval to publish retail versions of games on Nintendo Switch for some time, but Nintendo had put the relationship on the back burner as they’ve been solidifying connections with larger developers in the interim.
Finally, Limited Run has announced that they have the green light to begin publishing retail versions of games for Switch, and that their first game will hit the console in 2018. The company is known for releasing limited physical versions of indie titles.

Details on what that game will be have not been revealed, so we’ll just have to wait for more details from the publisher!
