Thanks to some new leaks, the latest batch of upcoming Amiibo have apparently been revealed. The leaks come from a set of in-store advertisements from various retailers that were apparently displayed prematurely.
Friday’s release of Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival resulted in the release of several popular characters from the franchise immortalized in plastic. While favorites from the series such as Isabelle and KK Slider are now available, it looks like they’ll soon be getting some company! According to the in-store displays, Timmy and Tommy Nook will share an Amiibo exclusive to Target, while Kapp’n and Rover will each get an Amiibo of their own!
That news would be interesting enough for Amiibo fans, but new information on the next upcoming Super Smash Bros. Amiibo have also been revealed! It appears that Ryu and Roy should be on the way soon, with the latter being a GameStop exclusive. Neither should come as a surprise since Nintendo previously announced that every character in the game will get their own Amiibo, but the Famicom version of R.O.B. will apparently see release in North America as well! What’s more, this looks like an individual release, unlike the previous version.
Which of these newly revealed Amiibo do you plan on buying? Let us know in the comments below!
