While Switch has gotten a strong amount of content in its debut year, one genre criminally underrepresented on the platform thus far is horror. Fortunately, that seems to be quickly changing, and the surprise announcement of Layers of Fear Legacy should give genre fans reason to be excited.
Aspyr and Bloober Team’s first-person title focuses on a painter chased through a Victorian mansion by disturbing images. Gamers that love jump scares and twisting narratives should keep their eyes on this one. As you can see from the trailer below, the title received fairly strong accolades when it debuted in early 2016!
According to Aspyr and Bloober Team, em>Layers of Fear Legacy should release “soon” on Switch, though no set release date has been given. With Halloween just around the corner, October seems like a very safe bet!
