If you are eagerly awaiting the release of Pikmin 3 and want the latest info on the game then you better brush up on your Japanese because Nintendo has announced it will be streaming a Nintendo Direct specifically about the game in Japan tomorrow, June 26, at 8:00 pm Japan standard time. Nintendo is no doubt revving up its marketing machine in preparation for the game’s release on July 13 in the company’s home country.

As we’ve come to expect, Satoru Iwata will be on camera and he will be joined by Shigeru Miyamoto and Hitoshi Matsumoto– the former obviously needs no introduction, while the latter is apparently a Japanese comedian.

Hopefully Nintendo will be nice enough to give the rest of the world a similar treatment, because the global release isn’t that much later and we all know Nintendo could use a little more marketing muscle for Wii U. Pikmin 3 launched in Europe on July 26, Australia on July 27, and in North America on August 4.
