While some might lament the number of third party ports hitting Switch, the system’s surprise success has made it a fantastic platform for delivering tested gameplay experiences to new audiences and in a new, portable form, as well. Despite this, Activision Blizzard has been rather quiet when it comes to Switch, but a few clues and plenty of rumor mongering suggests the giant publisher has a major release on the horizon.
Following a playful Tweet from Blizzard and some further digging by Eurogamer, it is looking more and more likely that Diablo 3 will be coming to Switch. Of course, without any official announcements, nothing can yet be said about when it might come out or how much of the game, which has seen multiple expansions, might be included.

Diablo 3 initially launched with some issues but eventually went on to become a major hit among new and dedicated fans of the celebrated franchise. Furthermore, in addition to current generation consoles, the game was also released on Xbox 360 and PS3, so it should be able to run on Switch without issue. Hopefully we’ll get an official announcement soon.
