What’s that? Two TMNT games aren’t enough for you in 2024? You’d like a third? Well, you’re in luck, as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate was announced as a timed exclusive during today’s Indie World Showcase. Is there beat ’em up action? Yes, but with a twist: this is a roguelike. Take a look:
In Splintered Fate, each of the four brothers has a unique set of abilities, which means runs with each turtle will be more distinct. You’ll unlock temporary abilities while going on runs, but you’ll also be able to unlock some permanent ones, which should make for some interesting strategizing during gameplay.
There’s no set release date for Splintered Fate outside of the nebulous July release window that was given today, but we’ll update as soon as we learn more.
