Blue Prince, as you have likely surmised, is a play on words. Meantto sound like blueprints, that’s what the game centers around—building a layout inside of a house to reach a hidden room. The game came out in 2025 on other platforms, but, as revealed during yesterday’s Indie World showcase, is now available on Nintendo Switch 2. Give it a look:
The main character, Simon, is tasked with roaming the halls of Mt. Holly, his great-uncle’s estate. Simon must solve the mystery of the manor in order to lay down a path to Room 46 and prove he is worthy of inheriting the house and everything else his great-uncle has left him. Played entirely in first-person, you’ll track your footsteps, your resources, and solve puzzles as you learn about the mystery at the core of the adventure. Blue Prince a wildly unique game and was the perfect capper for yesterday’s Indie World.
