Kart racers are known for providing fast, frenetic and fun gameplay and, for the most part, Crash Team Racing delivered that experience. However, there was one area where things took a turn for the slow- load times. Thankfully, it looks like that issue might soon be a thing of the past.
Activision is pushing out updates across all platforms for the game with the Switch version being bumped up to version 1.05. Every console will be getting the usual stability, bug and exploit fixes, but the update notes also makes sure to mention load times with the Switch version getting a special note specifying the update will use the system’s Boost Mode to help address the issue.
While this update doesn’t have an exact release date, it should be available sometime within the next week, so players shouldn’t have long to wait.
