With the launch of the Nintendo Switch just over a month away, the system’s launch lineup seems pretty set in stone. Fortunately, fans of the JRPG genre have another title to look forward to on day one. Square-Enix’s I am Setsuna will be available in all three territories on March 3.
I am Setsuna follows the story of the game’s titular heroine, a maiden chosen as a sacrifice to appease the demons terrorizing her home. The title originally released on PS4 late last year to predominantly strong reviews. The game’s storyline was heavily praised by a number of outlets.
Unfortunately, North America and Europe will miss out on the lovely physical release Japan is getting for the game. Of course, Limited Run Games, known for their physical releases of indie games, has pledged support for the Switch platform. Perhaps I am Setsuna will be one of the first out of the gate.
