If you’ve played the likes of Bastion and Transistor on Switch, then you’ll know that developer Supergiant Games is really good at making video games. Like, crazy good. With polished, engaging narratives and kinetic action-RPG gameplay, Superigant delivers experiences very unique among other, similar titles. Well, strap in folks because the latest title from the studio is available now in the eShop: Hades.
Here’s what players can expect from Hades:
Defy the god of the dead in this Greek mythology-inspired dungeon crawler. Thousands of story events and ability combinations ensure a unique experience each time players hack and slash their way out of the Underworld, wielding the powers and mythical weapons of Olympus to aid in their escape.
The game is set to offer cross saves between the Switch and PC versions of Hades, but the feature isn’t quite yet ready to go. An update at some point post-launch will allow players to go back and forth between the two platforms and maintain save continuity between them. In the meantime, fans will have to simply relish in the gameplay and story.
