Japan’s most famous mecha franchise will soon be making its Switch premiere. Bandai Namco previously released SD Gundam G Generation Genesis on PlayStation 4 and Vita, but the publisher has now revealed their plans to bring the game to Nintendo’s newest system in the latest issue of Famitsu.
Like previous entries in the SD Gundam sub-series, Generation Genesis is a turn-based strategy game featuring smaller, cuter, chibi-like versions of the famous mecha from the long-running anime franchise. Furthermore, the first run of the game will come with a digital copy of Super Gachapon World: SD Gundam X, which was originally released on the Super Famicom.
SD Gundam G Generation Genesis will come out in Japan on April 26. So far, nothing has been said about a release in any other markets.
