Japan will be getting the next round of Hyrule Warriros DLC next week with what is being called the Ganon Pack. Not surprisingly, the focus of this new content is on Ganon, and the other big baddies of the Zelda universe.
The main feature of this DLC are two new modes, Boss Challenge and Ganon Play. Boss Challenge sounds like it will be something of a boss rush mode, tasking you with taking on the biggest foes in the game while aiming for a high score. New outfits for Link, Zelda, and Lana can be unlocked in this mode. Ganon Mode will allow you to actually take control of the massive, pig-like beast form of Hyrule’s greatest enemy as you wreak untold destruction on all that dare stand in your path. Like Boss Challenge mode, the focus on this mode seems to be about setting high scores, and it also allows you to unlock new costumes, only this time they are for Cia and Ganondorf.
When the DLC launches, Hyrule Warriors will also receive an update to version 1.6.0 that includes the following: level cap increase, new potion mixtures, new medals, an expanded challenge mode with new scenarios, scoreboards, and bug fixes.
Now this information is currently specific to the Japanese version of the game, so we’ll have to wait and see to learn when the DLC will hit other markets.
