The Pokémon Company has long partnered with retailers around the world to deliver limited time, special content. Recently, the games have utilized the Pokémon Pass app to help streamline this process across all games and hardware. Now, it looks like gamers won’t have to wait too long to get some extra content for the upcoming Pokémon Sword and Shield.
This time around, the company is working with Walmart to give gamers a new outfit for their trainer. According to some recently spotted advertisements in a Walmart store, from November 16 to November 25, players will be able to use the app to scan an in-store QR code and unlock an orange and black tracksuit alongside a matching hat. These duds should go nicely with the games’ new focus on character customization.
Pokémon Sword and Shield launch November 15.
