Sometimes, it’s hard to keep games a secret. In the case of Mario+Rabbids Kingdom Battle, it’s been darn near impossible. After months of speculation, rumors and full-on leaks, Ubisoft finally confirmed the game’s existence during their E3 presentation on Monday afternoon.
As previously reported, the title will be a tactical RPG, featuring characters that move around an isometric kingdom, similar to Super Mario 3D World. In the game, Mario and his Rabbid companions have teamed up to save a group of Rabbids that have been corrupted. Ubisoft has released a behind-the-scenes video revealing more information, which we’ve mirrored below!
The game’s music will be composed by Grant Kirkhope, of Banjo-Kazooie fame, and the title will have an action figure line, which is currently available for preorder! Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will release on Switch August 29. Let us know what you think of the title in the comments below!
