Just as the tides rise and fall and the sun rises and sets, another inevitability is once again beginning its cycle- Ubisoft has announced Just Dance 2020. The company touts the franchise as the most successful music gaming franchise having sold more than 67 million copies in its ten year history.
This iteration will feature 40 new songs to dance to, including eight family friendly tracks for the Kids Mode. Beyond these, fans will also be able to access more than 500 songs through the subscription based Just Dance Unlimited service, which players will be able to access for one month for free.
Interestingly, this year’s game is being released on Switch and Wii, but not Wii U, when it hits store shelves November 5. Wii was such massive success with casual audiences that even 13 years after its release, Ubisoft can justify releasing a new Just Dance game for it while the system’s immediate successor is left in the dust.
