Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon might have given fans an NES-era take on the burgeoning series’ Castlevania-inspired gameplay, but there are countless fans anxious for a glimpse of the main event. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night still doesn’t have a release date, but E3 attendees were able to get their hands on a special demo that showcased the upcoming Switch title’s progress to date. It was good fun, but for many of those who have been waiting since the game’s Kickstarter campaign to try Ritual of the Night, they couldn’t help but be envious that they didn’t get a shot to try it for themselves.
Well, thankfully the E3 demo is now open to many, many more people. Anyone who backed the game at the $60 level and above should have an access key to a special closed beta of Ritual of the Night. They’ll get to experience the special demo which contains new enemies, NPCs, and other elements that have previously been unseen. Note, the demo is only available to be played on Steam, but it’s representative of what the final experience will be when Ritual of the Night hits consoles, including Switch.
