Publisher Adult Swim Games has announced that Duck Game, the 2D multiplayer action game, is coming to Nintendo Switch on May 2.

Originally released back on the Ouya in 2014, Duck Game lets you play alone or with up to four players in local and online multiplayer across more than fifty levels and with fifty different weapons to discover. The Switch version also includes a touchscreen supported level editor for you to make your own levels.

Welcome to the future – the year 1984 – a nightmarish age of colorfully pixelated graphics where ducks run amok in a frantic war for glory. Win the crowd and amass a following by blasting your feathered friends with firearms, mind control rays, magnet guns, saxophones and several other things that shouldn’t be weapons but now are! Duck Game emphasizes clever tactics and strategy as much as raw skill and reflexes. It’s one hit and you’re roasted, so make sure you don’t blink.

The game was ported to PC in 2015 and PS4 in 2017, and there were hints that it could come to Switch as far back as January 2017. It’s received generally positive review from critics in that time, and you can see the duck carnage in action in the announcement trailer below:

Duck Game will be available to download on the Switch eShop from May 2.
